Our Statement of Faith
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Living Word, became flesh through the conception of the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. We believe that He died on a cross as a sacrifice for our sin, and on the third day rose again victorious over death, hell, and the grave. He ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God our Father, and is our High Priest and Mediator.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and is our rule of faith and practice.
We believe that God sent the Holy Spirit to indwell those who are born again through repentance of sin and accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. He gives us new life, empowers us, and imparts gifts to us for His service. The Holy Spirit comforts us, teaches us, and guides us into all truth and seals us for the day of redemption.
We believe that our salvation is completely dependent upon God’s grace. Those born of the Holy Spirit and who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord become children of God and heirs of eternal life. The redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ provides healing for our spirit, soul, and body.
We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid and operative today, and that the fruit of the Holy Spirit should be increasingly evident in a Christian's life. We believe that the members of the Body of Christ are the Church, and that they should regularly fellowship with one another.
We believe in the command to preach the Gospel to all the Earth and to make disciples of all people. This requires commitment and submission to the will of God through love and service. We look for the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ in all His Glory, Power, and Splendor!
